We define a Mass Shooting as 4 or more victims either injured or killed excluding the perpertrator/suspect and occurring at the same location. In 2021, there were 690 Mass Shooting Events. In 2022, that number went down slightly to 647 for the year. So far in 2023, we have seen 143 Mass Shootings in less than 100 days. There have been weeks that average TWO Mass Shootings a day. In addition, 68 Children have been killed in the first 100 days as well as 13 Police Officers. This includes our Hometown of Huntsville, Alabama.
